| Function | Management of the ACT Murrumbidgee District for conservation, recreation and agriculture. 10,000ha Murrumbidgee Corridor area includes: Angle Crossing, Casuarina Sands, Cotter River, Kambah Pool, Lower Molonglo River (Coppins Crossing to Murrumbidgee River), Point Hut, Pine Island, Shepherd's Lookout (Stockdill Dr, Holt), Tharwa Bridge, Tharwa Sandwash and Uriarra. Also manages the northern 30,000ha of Namadgi National Park, The 6,000ha Lower Cotter Catchment and Uriarra nd Pierces creek forestry areas including Miowera and Ingeldene. It features walking trails, scenic drives, wildlife and camping grounds. 58,000ha in total. |
