Function  Tidbinbilla is a unique nature based tourism attraction where you can encounter wildlife in their natural setting. The Sanctuary and Eucalypt Forest are open range areas wheree many animals including koalas and wallabies live; Also many allusive platypus and bold birdlife can be spotted. Other attractions include the Visitors Information Centre and shop, Tidbinbilla Kiosk, the huge Discovery playground, walking trails, picnic areas, lookouts, fabulous scenery and the rich diversity of cultural history such as Rock Valley Homestead, Nil Desperandum (which can be hired for overnight stays) and indigenous trails. There are also self guided walks, Ranger guided activities, school holiday programs and volunteer programs at Tidbinbilla. Tidbinbilla is located on Paddys River Road via Point Hut Crossing (Gordon) or via the Cotter Road (Stromlo).
